Jacques FLEUREAUX

Jacques Fleureaux, Plastic Arts Artist, was bornin Orleans on April 20, 1940. He has been living, for the last 20yrs, on the Island of Paros (Greek Islands).
His work shop is in the main town of Parikia and he also speads part of the year in Vannes sur Cosson, near Orleans, France.
His artistic career is extensive and spreads over time, space and materiels.
The different stages of this career allow us to understand the very strong link between the materiels he uses ie paint, paper, writing, masks.
The resulting artistic production will allow the spectator to embark on an exploratory trip which could lead to an introspective journey.
As indecipherable as the B linear letter writing, these wordings that can be seen on his paintings are part of an abstract surface that, however, appear to be familier to us.
Jacques Fleureaux is an ardent admirer of the original writings and signs and thus a creater of a universe.
